It Sounded Better in my Head by Nina Kenwood

Told from the perspective of the bookish, smart yet knowingly introverted Natalie, this witty, contemporary story of self-acceptance, friendship and love had me laughing out loud as Natalie negotiates her changing friendships. Set in Melbourne, there are not many better books around that capture the spirit of today so perfectly. Nominated for an Indie Book Award for 2020, I can't wait to see what Nina Kenwood writes next!
