I was delighted to be transported to the Cole’s Book Arcade in Melbourne at it’s finest in the late 1800's. Mr Cole bought to life a magical place and Amelia Mellor has made it even more magical still, in a captivating adventure filled with riddles and excitement. The characters are based on the Cole’s children that grew up in the flat upstairs, what a childhood that would have been? I wish I could have seen it in real life but this book took me there in my imagination, that’s close enough. Michelle
