Our Workshops are run via Zoom so kids can participate from the comfort of home, and entry price is simply the cost of the book plus postage – it's pretty much a bonus workshop included in the cost of a good read! Live Storytimes

Live Storytime with Gabriel Evans
Wednesday 8 July
10:30am AEST
Live on Harry Hartog Facebook page

Once there was a drawing of a penguin.
It was the cutest penguin ever.
The penguin knew he was cute …
And he didn’t like it one bit.
The penguin doesn’t just want to be cute – he wants to look like a REAL penguin.

Follow this penguin’s hilarious journey as he searches for a way to become less cute – giving all the other cute animal drawings in the sketchbook a stern talking to along the way. Author and illustrator Gabriel Evans will lead this flippin' cool, *definitely* not too-cute Storytime!

Please note: this Live Storytime will be streamed live from our Westfield Bondi Junction store, with limited RSVPs taken in-store only.

Live Storytime with Trent Jamieson
Tuesday 14 July
10:30am AEST
Live on Harry Hartog Facebook page

A giant stands on the shore, watching the sea. She never moves, never speaks, until the day she turns to a little girl and says, 'The sea is rising.' The brave girl takes the message to the town. But when the people refuse to listen, the giant must find another way to save them.

Please join us for a special Storytime as author Trent Jamieson reads his lyrical and deeply moving story The Giant and the Sea. With a focus on climate change, it is perfect for children and families thinking about the positive impact they can have this Plastic Free July.
