It treats the history, tools and techniques of weaving, and what the craft means for twentieth-century design. She dedicated it to “my great teachers, the weavers of ancient Peru”. A 1966 review praised its “inspiration and wisdom”. The book remained in print for about two decades, was reissued in paperback in 1974 and 2003, and appeared in an expanded full-colour edition from Princeton University Press in 2017.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFirst UK edition. \u003c\/strong\u003eQuarto, 204pp., with more than a hundred plates, photographs and diagrams [confirm].
