This volume details Priestly's experiences as part of Scott's Antarctic expedition. Particularly, Priestly was with the Northern party that became stranded and had to survive an Antarctic winter in a snow cave. Very good. Rebound in later quarter blue calf with blind and gilt tooling and black cloth, as well as new end papers. Contents in excellent condition, very mild age toning towards edges of text block. Mild speckling here and there. Otherwise, contents clean and bright. Image plates bright and fresh with details preserved.
