Erico Taglietti AO, Italian-Australian architect renowned for designing a number of famous buildings in Australia, particularly public works in Canberra. Taglietti's works represent an example of a golden era of design which shaped Canberra through the late 20th century and presented a hopeful vision of the future for the Capital.
Signed and inscribed to Paul and Wendy Reid by Taglietti on first page recto, dated 1980.
Overall condition: excellent. Softcover wrappers show some age-related markings, some yellowing to inners of softcover dust jacket. Contents in excellent condition, some scant foxing to preliminaries and along edges. Pages clean, fresh, and bright. Well preserved.

Provenance: From the library of Paul & Wendy Reid. Paul Reid is hailed as one of the minds who helped to shape Canberra. As Chief Architect at the NCDC, Paul's most important role was the organisation and construction of the New Parliament House. He also had a sizeable involvement with all of the major works associated with Canberra. His legacy remains celebrated in various forms at multiple universities within Australia.
