Accompanied by the original reservation slip, letter to subscribers signed by Brigadier George Hardy, Keeper of the Map Room at the Royal Geographical Society, and the original sales prospectus sent to subscribers.

The Times Atlas of the World, first published in its comprehensive one-volume form in 1967, established itself over subsequent decades as, in the words of Lord Shackleton, former President of the Royal Geographical Society, "the finest reference atlas ever published". This special edition, produced in association with the Royal Geographical Society and issued in a limited run of 7,500 numbered copies, presents the atlas's comprehensive mapping in an elaborately bound presentation format.

Near fine. Some very mild markings to covers. Internally fine throughout. A beautiful copy of a landmark publication.
