First edition of this increasingly rare title. A comparative study of British and colonial Australian architectural practices. Focuses on the first 60 years of British settlement in Australia and on the colonial revival through the early 20th century. Cox & Lucas are both well-renowned Sydney-based architects.

Overall condition: excellent. Some mild rubbing to edges of leather. Very mild foxing to some prelims. Slight yellowing at to some page edges through contents. Otherwise, a wonderfully preserved copy in excellent condition. Signature of Paul Reid inked to upper FFEP.
