I dropped to the ground. I could see nothing until lightning flashed. I started crawling towards the bottom of the stairs where I'd last seen Dad. Something slammed into my side and I hit the ground. My hip was hurting like crazy but I went on, sliding like a snake ... When I lifted my head and tried to see where I was, the rain and mud splashed into my eyes making it almost impossible to see.Ryan and his best friend, Nev, both love fishing. They spend all their spare time at the wharf or out on Darwin Harbour fishing for trevally and barra, and keeping an eye on local weather and tides.
