Bound in original green publisher's buckram. Cover and spine titled in gilt. Cover margins in orange, spine in gilt. Cover illustration blocked in gilt and orange. Upper edge gilt.
Overall condition: excellent. Presents beautifully. Very minor rubbing at spine edges and corners. Mild sunning to spine. Otherwise, colours true, gilt bright. Original binding sturdy. Contents overall clean and bright. Some toning and mild foxing to endpapers, as well as here and there throughout. Original frontis tissue guard present but toned, has imprinted mild toning onto title page. All called for contents present. Folding map in excellent condition, seams preserved and only a very small tear at joint. A fantastic copy in highly collectible condition.
