Global Interior, a companion series within Yukio Futagawa's broader Global Architecture publishing project, applies the same rigorous photographic documentation to residential interior design internationally that the parent GA and GA Houses series brought to architectural exteriors — surveying, issue by issue and country by country, the interior spaces of significant modern houses by leading architects of the period. As with the related series in this catalogue, individual issues document work by major architectural figures of the twentieth century, and the series is increasingly sought after by architecture libraries and specialist collectors for its combination of exceptional photographic quality and genuine documentary value, recording interior spaces often altered or lost in the decades since publication.
