Rebacked, retaining original spine strip and original vivid-blue publisher's buckram covers. Stamped in black and gilt to cover and spine. Illustration vignette of Mont Blanc blocked in gilt to upper cover. Lettering to spine in gilt. Publisher's stamp to rear cover in blind. All edges uncut. Good. Some rubbing at spine creases and corners, as well as on lower front cover. Spine mildly darkened. Markings here and there. Contents in excellent condition. Small staining to lower corner of endpapers and half title. Library stamp and various inscriptions in pencil and ink to half title. Some tearing to pages at upper edge in a small section.
