Bound in contemporary brown patterned cloth by Edmonds & Remnants of London. Cover margins in blind. Spine titled and decorated in gilt. All edges uncut. 

Provenance: From the library of Warwick H. Williams.

Overall condition: Near fine. Some very scarce markings to cover boards. Very mild rubbing at corners. Spine gilt bright. Endpapers have some age fading. Otherwise, contents remarkably well preserved. Clean and fresh. 

First Edition. London: Longman, Green, Longman, and Roberts, 1862. Slim small 8vo. Contemporary brown decorative cloth. Pages: vii, [vi],103, 8 pages of advertisements. 2 full-page engravings.
