A slender volume detailing Christensen’s exploration of the Antarctic in a lecture delivered to the Norwegian Geographical society in 1937. This is the first edition published in the English language.

First edition. Oslo: Johan Grundt Tanum, 1938. Slim 8vo. pp.27. Bound in publisher’s two-toned paper board hardcover. Titling on card pasted to cover. Very good. Some wear to cover boards, particularly at edges and corners. Contents show some mild toning and foxing, though generally very good.
