The collector’s edition of the first novel in the Fae & Alchemy series, signed by the author.

Quicksilver is the first book in Callie Hart’s Fae & Alchemy trilogy, and her first work of fantasy after more than forty dark romance novels. It follows Saeris Fane, a young woman in the desert city of Zilvaren who hides her ability to manipulate metal. She is pulled through a portal into Yvelia, a frozen Fae realm, where she discovers that she is an Alchemist and is bound to the Fae warrior Kingfisher. Hart first published it herself on Kindle in June 2024. After she sent copies to a group of BookTok readers, the posts drove strong sales, and a ten-bidder auction went to Forever, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing, which published it in the United States in December 2024. Hodderscape holds the British rights, and the book reached number one on both the New York Times and Sunday Times lists. Netflix bought the film rights in December 2024. It is an example of a self-published title that rose through social media to a major trade publisher.
