Bound in original burgundy publisher's cloth. Gilt titling to spine. Cover illustration blocked in gilt. W. Williams blind stamp and State Library of Tasmania stamp to lower title corner.
Good. Binding in fair condition. Hinge repaired with tape. Some markings to covers and spine. Edges and corners rubbed. Spine slightly discoloured and has marking to lower half left by previously removed library sticker. Library pastedowns to front endpapers. Mild toning and foxing to endpapers. Contents very good, paper fresh, plates clear and bright. Folding panorama and centre folding map in excellent condition. Rear folding map has been repaired with tape, but remains sturdy. A good copy.
