Bound in original blue publisher's cloth. Lettering on spine in gilt. End papers show map of Christiansen's route during his voyages to the Antarctic. Fair. Sans dust jacket. Spine slightly sunned with some discolouration marks. Binding separating from contents at gutter of endpapers. Preliminaries loosening with chipping at edges. Evidence of removed pastedown on FFEP, Otherwise, contents in very good condition. Very mild age toning and spotting throughout.
