Set housed in red ochre slipcase. All five volumes bound in red ochre publisher's cloth and illustrated in gilt and black. Spines lettered in gilt and panelled in black. Volume one covers the works of Aeschylus,  volume two Sophocles, and volumes three-to-five cover Euripides.

Very good. All five volumes in very good condition. Some minor foxing internally and along edges of each volume. Slipcase in good condition. Remains sturdy, though shows some markings, particularly along edges and at rear. Some mild foxing to the inside of slipcase. Bindngs of all volumes in excellent order, illustrations bright and bold, gilt unrubbed. Internal plates present wonderfully, colourful and well-preserved. An overall beautiful set.
