Overall condition: near fine. Dust jacket unclipped and in near fine condition. Some imperfections on author's name text on front face. A few minor scratches on rear jacket face. Minor age toning on jacket inner near upper edge. Hardcover boards in near fine condition. Minor weathering along lower edge and on extremities. Binding square and tight. End papers and pages in near fine condition. One small marking on foredge of text block.

True first edition. Signed by author on title page. Spine bound in quarter cloth-effect paper and marbled effect paper. Lettering on spine in inlaid silver.
