Harry Hartog's review
This book was all kinds of whack… and I loved it! I gaged, cringed, raged, threw it down and paced my living room, and my god I could not get enough. Raging feminist horror but in a subtle something-is-wrong-but-what? kinda way? Count me in! This book with make you seethe with rage, and by the end of it I was ready to take on the world with Ji-won. Recommend to anyone who likes Yōko Ogowa, Ottessa Moshfegh etc. - Lauren, Subscriptions

Then her mother's new white boyfriend enters the scene, bragging about his knowledge of Korean culture. As he swaggers around their claustrophobic apartment ogling her teenage sister, Ji-won's grip on reality begins to slip.
She finds herself growing obsessed with his brilliant blue eyeballs, resolving to do the one thing that will save her family - and curb her cravings...
