Bound in original Blue Publisher's Cloth. Spine lettering and British Antarctic Expedition stamp in gilt. Cover lettering and like stamp in gilt. Gaston Renard seller sticker on FBEP at lower edge. Previous owner's inscription neatly inked on first page. Various pencil markings on front and rear end papers. Newspaper clipping and two sales listings inserted loosely at front. Good. Wearing and some small tears to spine at head and foot. Minor loss at spine head. Spine sunned. Some sunning on cover and rear towards upper edge. Minor rubbing to corner extremities. Contents generally in excellent condition. Some spotting along edges, minor age toning. Otherwise, contents clear and bright. End papers age toned, particularly rear.
