Paul Reid's personal copy of this book. Reid was a contributing writer, on the half title is an inscription dedicated to him from chief editor Jeff Turnbull.

A comprehensive study of the major works done by Walter and Marion Griffin through the 20th century. Examines over 250 projects in which they were involved. Also includes a series of essays from a range of Griffin scholars examining different facets of their work. Includes typed letter from Turnbull to Reid outlining the requirements for his contribution prior to editing and publication.

Provenance: From the library of Paul & Wendy Reid. Paul Reid is hailed as one of the minds who helped to shape Canberra. As Chief Architect at the NCDC, Paul's most important role was the organisation and construction of the New Parliament House. He also had a sizeable involvement with all of the major works associated with Canberra. His legacy remains celebrated in various forms at multiple universities within Australia.
