Harry Hartog's review

It's fair to say I love anything with rabbits and hares but this was adorable as well. We have a curmudgeonous hare that is not willing to share his delicious bounty of turnips with the new neighbouring rabbits, even though they invite him over and make delicious meals for all their forest companions. Hare is not interested in having friends until one night a boar comes sniffing through and his sense of community comes through. Precious illustrations and a lesson in comradery, this is a must for every growing child's library. - Dee, Harry Hartog Macquarie

Description

Hare is proud of his turnip patch and doesn't want to share it with anyone. When the rabbits move in nearby, they invite Hare for carrot soup but he's much happier being alone. Still, when a huge boar comes to the woods in search of his next meal, Hare feels he should warn his neighbors. Can they find a way to help each other stay out of danger?
