The King's New Palace

Many years ago a disciple of Jesus named Thomas was called upon to go to India to do the work of his Lord. At the same time he was commissioned by King Gundaphorus to build a new palace for his Indian kingdom. How Thomas succeeded in doing two things at once is told in this lively tale adapted by Susan Summers from the Apocryphal New Testament. The nub of the story is that it is better to store up your treasures in heaven than here on earth.
