Michael Bialoguski's personal accounting of his role in one of the most dramatic episodes in Australian Cold War history - the Petrov Affair.

A Polish-American medical practitioner, musician and intelligence agent, Bialoguski fled to Australia in 1941 after the Soviet Invasion of Poland. Working as an ASIO agent, was a key figure in convincing Vladimir Petrov to defect from the Soviet Union.

This publication became mired in controversy when Biagoluski's ex-wife, Patricia, published wrote a newspaper piece attacking his character. The book also formed the basis for an American television documentary in 1956.

Overall condition: excellent. Dust jacket shows rubbing along edges. Some fading to spine. Bindings excellent, some small markings. Contents fine. Some mild toning to endpapers.
