Overall condition: Excellent. Minor rubbing to edges, creases, and corners. Spine head a bit weathered. Age toning to endpapers. Some minor foxing throughout contents. More prominent at rear. Small tear to large folding map at gutter join, stabilised with archival tape.

First edition. London: Aston Rivers, Limited, 1905. Large 8vo. Original green publisher's cloth. Pages: [ii], frontispiece, xvi, 456. 3 folding maps: 2 b/w throughout and 1 large coloured map at rear. Numerous plates, diagrams, and illustrations throughout.
