A classic of Australian outback literature, the Thorn Birds is a chronicle of three generations of a powerful ranching family. McCullough had a long and successful career as an author, with multiple of her books being adapted into film and television, including this one.

First Edition, inscribed by author. New York: Harper & Row, (1977). Large 8vo. Finely bound quarter Morocco and board hardcover. 533pp. Near fine. Generally presents beautifully. Binding is very well done but lacks binders markings. Some faint markings to cover boards. Contents show some even age toning and a spot or two along the edges. An unique and fine copy inscribed by McCullough.
