The Thorn Birds (First Edition, Author Inscribed)

Inscribed by McCullough to first page: "To Jean, with best wishes. Colleen McCullough". Finely rebound in quarter brown Morocco and wine red boards. Presents beautifully.

A classic of Australian outback literature, the Thorn Birds is a chronicle of three generations of a powerful ranching family. McCullough had a long and successful career as an author, with multiple of her books being adapted into film and television, including this one.

First Edition, inscribed by author. Large Octavo. 533pp. Finely bound quarter Morocco and board hardcover. Generally presents beautifully. Binding is very well done but lacks binders markings. Some faint markings to cover boards. Contents show some even age toning (likely due to paper quality) and a spot or two along the edges. An unique and fine copy inscribed by McCullough.
