The Ugly Five

Who's this funny-looking bunch of animals? They're gangly, warty,
bumpy, bristly, spotty, stinky-and totally irresistible!
Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's wonderfully warm, funny picture
book is a glorious celebration of the real-life 'Ugly Five' animals in Africa.
With its perfect rhyme and superb illustrations, it's a comic masterpiece
that is a joy to read aloud.
