Rare First Edition of an Australian Literature Classic. Adapted multiple times for both film and television, Tomorrow, When the War Began is a beloved tale of survival against overwhelming adversity.

Overall condition: Near fine. Original blue cloth hardcover in original unclipped dust jacket. Jacket has been preserved well, colours are true, and title gilding is bright and bold. Hardcover boards in fine condition. Binding is square and tight. Edges, creases, and corners are largely free of age markings. End papers and textblock in near fine condition. Very mild foxing along textblock edges. Contents are fresh and bright. A very attractive copy of an Australian classic.

First book in the Tomorrow series which catapulted Marsden into fame as an author. Has long been taught in the Australian school syllabus and is the focus of many adaptations, both in film and on television.
